Shaker Systems

Unholtz-Dickie offers more than 85 standard shaker system product configurations that cover a wide range of test applications. These can generally be categorized as follows:

S Series Electrodynamic Shakers

The S-Series provides a very cost-effective solution for most vibration requirements where the test specimen is small to moderately large. Completely air cooled, the S-Series systems cover a wide force range (100 to 6,000 lbf) and includes systems with the world’s highest shock performance of up to 1,500 g pk. Installation is generally simple requiring typical factory utilities.

H Series Electrodynamic Shakers

The H-Series provides an intermediate force range (6,500 to 8,000 lbs) of vibration test systems in support of intermediate to moderately large payloads. Designed with a strong lightweight armature (12, 16 or 24 inch diameter available), the H-Series can provide very high acceleration levels.

High Frequency Testing: A special High Frequency version of the H560 is available extending the frequency range to 5000 Hz.

R Series Electrodynamic Shakers

Now provides up to 13,500 pounds force and can be configured with 3 inches pk-pk stroke!!

Rated from 9,000 to 13,500 pounds force, the R-Series supports a variety of applications for medium to large payloads. Two armature sizes (16 inch or 24 inch) allow selection of the best performance to payload weight ratio. A high frequency R16 configuration is also available for special test applications. Because of the large armature sizes, the R-Series is a proven solution for multi-product test applications.

K Series Electrodynamic Shakers

Industries first and only 17,000 lbf all air cooled system!!

The K-Series family of vibration test systems offers the industry's highest force all air-cooled, 3-inch pk-pk (76 mm) continuous displacement. K-Series shakers are available with 17.5" (445 mm) or 25.75" (654 mm) armatures.

T2000 Series (IAR) Electrodynamic Shakers

Now with optional 3 inch pk-pk stroke!

The T2000 Induct-A-Ring (IAR) vibration test system is a revolutionary design offered only by Unholtz-Dickie Corporation. The remarkable performance and reliability of these systems is due to the unique single coil Induct-A-Ring armature. This makes the T2000 the best choice for applications requiring large payloads and/or moderate to high test levels. The T2000 is rated from 15,000 to 25,000 pounds force with extreme shock performance.

T4000/T5000/T5500 Series (IAR) Electrodynamic Shakers

Now with optional 3 inch pk-pk stroke!

The T4000, T5000 and new T5500 vibration test systems provide the same revolutionary Induct-A-Ring (IAR) armature design offered in the T2000 Series shakers, but extend the force range up to 55,000 pounds utilizing a larger armature. These systems provide high performance and reliability for any application requiring very large payloads and/or high to extreme test levels.

PM Series Electrodynamic Shakers

The PM Series provides a low force range (50 pounds force) vibration test system commonly used for testing small, lightweight test items at moderate amplitudes over a very wide frequency range (i.e. small circuit boards, IC's, discrete components).
